Description | The Solomon Islands skink or Monkey Tailed Skink has a long, slender body, strong, short legs, and a triangular shaped head with small round eyes. The skink has a strong crushing jaw but the teeth are small and used for eating plant material. Its prehensile tail helps it maneuver from branch to branch with ease. |

Accommodation | High humidity (between 60-80%), branches for climbing and sun bathing. A minimum of two hides, one warm and a cooler one. A day basking lamp(basking spot 80'F(27'C)or some snake owners prefer under tank heating. Also you want to include a bathing dish big enough for your skink to climb in without overflowing. |
