Western Banded Gecko

Place of Origin and Range The Western Banded Gecko is a species of gecko found in the south western United States (southern California, south west New Mexico, southern Arizona, Utah, Nevada) and northern Mexico (Sonora, north west Baja California).
Description The body is sandy coloured with dark bands broken into patches. The tiny scales give its skin a silky texture. Unlike typical geckos, it has prominent eyes with movable lids.

Adult Size Can grow from 4–6 inches (10–15 cm)
Accommodation A minimum of two hides, a warm one and a cooler one, using their hides to "stalk" or wait for dinner.
