Morph Patterns Available | Yes |
Adult Size | Can grow 6- 8 feet(1.8 - 2.4m) |
Accommodation | This snake lives in a variety of habitats including savannah, grassland, forest, and rocky hillsides. High humidity(60-80%), branches for climbing. A hide to help regulate temperature along with a day basking spot at 80'F(27'C). Always include a dish big enough for bathing and a branch as thick as the snake anchored for climbing. |
Lifespan | Can live 15+ years |
Feeding / Diet | These snakes typically eat mice. Bull snakes are very powerful constrictors who may eat small mammals, such as mice, rats, pocket gophers, ground squirrels, and rabbits, as well as ground nesting birds, birds' eggs and lizards. Juvenile Bullsnakes depend on small lizards, frogs, and baby mice. |
Other Considerations | Snakes are relatively hardy low maintenance animals when kept in the correct environment, and require little day to day care other than feeding and cleaning out the tank as required. However, like all animals, they can still become sick or injured despite our best intentions to prevent this. |
