Frilled Lizard

Place of Origin and Range The Frilled-Neck lizard, also known as the Frilled Lizard or Frilled Dragon, is a type of lizard that is found mainly in northern Australia and southern New Guinea.
Description The frilled-neck lizard is so called because of the large ruff of skin which usually lies folded back against its head and neck. The neck frill is supported by long spines of cartilage which are connected to the jaw bones.

Adult Size Can grow up to 2.79 ft(85 cm)
Accommodation A large humid woodland. Branches for climbing. A hide to help regulate temperature along with a day basking spot at 80'F(27'C). Always include a dish big enough for bathing, but not big enough to drown in.
Lifespan Can live up to 12 years
Feeding / Diet Insects and occasionally newborn mice.
