Characteristics | They are are small to medium in size with a mature body weight of 34 kg (75 lb) in the rams and 27 kg (60 lb) in the ewes. They have a white body coat with the head and ears being black. The wool yield is 1.8 kg (medium; fiber diameter 39.2m). The Thalli are considered sturdy animals. Their ears are moderately long. Young lambs are used for pelt production. |
