All dogs living in the Township of Langley must have a dog licence.
Required Information
When making application for a new dog licence, have the following information ready:
- breed
- dog name
- gender
- colour
- veterinary certificate of neuter/spay
- tattoo location (if applicable)
Obtaining a Dog Licence
New and renewal dog licences can be obtained at the following Township facilities:
- Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre
- Patti Dale Animal Shelter (Langley Animal Protection Society)
- Township of Langley Civic Facility
- W.C. Blair Recreation Centre
- Walnut Grove Community Centre
- Willoughby Community Centre (at the Langley Events Centre)

- online – renewals only

Annual dog licence renewals are mailed to dog owners in November or December. If paid by February 1, there is a significant cost reduction as noted in the fee schedule below:

*proof of neuter/spay by means of a veterinary certificate is required for first time applications
